W. Robert de Jongh

Partner, Washington D.C.

Robert has spent nearly three decades advising senior executives on how to overcome their most complex challenges and achieve breakthrough results – from reassessing their purpose to accelerating their use of digital capabilities.

Over the past eight years, as a Managing Director at Deloitte, he led enterprise-wide digital and strategic transformations for some of the world’s largest organizations across the public and private sectors – enabling them to reimagine their operating models to create value and reduce risk while accelerating their impact. He was also one of the core founders of Deloitte’s Social Impact practice.

Before Deloitte, Robert catalysed and scaled inclusive business and blended finance models across emerging markets in Asia and Latin America and disenfranchised communities in the Southern U.S. for the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Ford Foundation, respectively.  He also led and helped privatize the Netherlands Development Organization in Latin America and has founded a tech start-up in Silicon Valley, two consulting firms and three non-profits. Earlier in his career, Robert led conservation and private sector engagement efforts for the World Wildlife Fund and The Nature Conservancy.

Robert received a BA in Economics and a BA in International Studies from American University.
